    My story
Hello I’m a tween, my first taste came when I was seven from my queer friend who we gonna call bunny. Bunny had been lesbian forever, and I was chill for it, cuz I didn’t date anyone. One day though, I was listening to one of my fav kids history pod casts, and the episode was on lgbtq+. My dad walked in to the room, looked at me and was like “hey what are you listening to” he looked pretty uncomfortable, so I paused it and said “oh I’m just listening to my podcast” and he walks out. Basically my parent are divorced and my moms always said “ oh I’ll be supportive of you date girls or boys” and she’s telling the truth. Mean while my dads more “don’t date boys are icky” but anyway, once I wa sun the car with my dad, little sis (who knew I was secretly bi) and my dads girlfriend. Me my mom and my sis were about to go on vacation, but on a previous vacation before that a boy gave me his number. Basically here’s how the ride went Dad: don’t get any boys phone numbers Me: I won’t Me: can I get girls? Dad: sure Lil sis: should I tell him? *smirks a bit* Me:naurrr Dad: tell me what? Me: I’m bisexual *me thinking dad will be supportive* Dad: your too young to choose. Yeahhhh like dude what do you mean??? I’m too young to choose who I like but you can’t even choose who your oldest children are???? But yeah :) have a good day y’all - almost 12 midlife crisis child :(

    has really helped me
im 13 and currently going through the coming out process myself and this podcast has been so much help. it has assured me that the feelings and thoughts im having are valid and that i dont have to be ashamed of them. growing up in a religious family it has been really hard to accept myself because of the fear of disappointing my heavenly father and jesus but this has helped me realize that if heavenly father and jesus are anything like the people i hope they are, they will love me for who i am. thank you so much for this podcast it has been a safe place for me to escape to and i hope you continue to make these amazing episodes.
